Scripture

We believe that God revealed His nature, character, and work through the pages of the Bible. We believe that God ordained and inspired the words of the Bible through human authors. While the words of the Bible are God's words, he did so without violating each author's style, vocabulary, and structure. We believe the Bible has one unifying message: God's redemption of His people through the person and work of Jesus.

God

We believe there is one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Spirit. We believe that God is the supreme being of the universe, Creator, Sustainer, Redeemer, and Savior. God is self-caused, holy, omniscient, omnipotent, omniscient, righteous, just, gracious, and loving.

God, the Father

God the Father, is the gracious, loving, yet righteous and holy being who providentially cares for and oversees the universe. He is a father in the noblest sense to those who come to Him through his Son, Jesus Christ.

God, the Son

God the Son, Jesus, is the eternal Son of the Father. He is "of the same substance" as God the Father, but different in role. Jesus is perfect in every way. He willingly came to earth to die on the Cross for people who sin against Him. After three days, he rose from the dead for the forgiveness of our sins and eternal salvation of our souls. Jesus died in our place as a substitute for us. He took our suffering and sin so that we might receive his good and righteousness.

God, the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is fully divine. He the Spirit of God, which indwells God's children. He enables in becoming more like Jesus, known as sanctification. He is the ultimate helper. He enables growth, strengthens, grants spiritual gifts, convicts of sin, brings back to our minds what Jesus has said, and empowers each follower of God to granter devotion and service toward Him.

Humanity

We believe that God created humans in His image. However, the nature of humans is evil and flawed by our inherent sin nature. We are all in need of a Savior. Thankfully, through Jesus, we are set free from the bonds of sin and death, into a new existence.

Salvation

We believe salvation is a work of God. We believe that salvation is "by grace through faith, not of works," as Paul says in Ephesians 2. Salvation cannot be earned or merited. Salvation is the free gift of God that can only be received by faith.

The Church

We believe the Church is God's institution for advancing His purposes on a global level. Jesus tasked the Church to expand further the Kingdom of God, which comprises of redeemed people of all ages, from every tribe, nation, tongue, and people.

The Family

We believe that family is the bedrock foundation of society. It is God's institution consisting of people living in a relationship with one another.

Marriage is the core of the family. We believe marriage is the sacred covenantal union of one man and one woman.

Children are a joyous blessing from the Lord. We believe children, from the moment of conception, are unique, special, and a heritage from the Lord.
